Come allow yourself to be present to what’s moving in and around you, draw support from the ground beneath you, and deeply connect with yourself, nature, and others.
Summertime Third Tuesdays: 6/17, 7/15, 8/19 from 6-7pm!
What to Expect: You’ll be guided through a 60 minute meditation, movement, and dance experience using Open Floor principles on the lawn outside Points of Stillness. We will arrive well, open awareness, explore a Core Movement Resource theme, settle, and close with sharing. Music supports the practice. Time will be spent sitting, walking the labyrinth, standing, dancing, talking, breathing, lying, and modifying as needed. Open Floor practice is for everybody.
Registration/Cost: Please TEXT 651-300-4939 to add your name to the list! Pay on site $15 cash or VENMO @Cori-Hildebrandt. Ages 18+. This event will be cancelled in case of unsafe weather. Any cancellations will be listed on the Facebook Event via post by 5pm.
Bring: Please wear comfortable/weather appropriate clothing, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a beach towel/blanket. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to sign in and settle in. We will start promptly at 6pm!
More About Open Floor Practice: Open Floor teaches resource-based mindful movement, embodiment, and conscious dance. Practice sessions begin with arriving well, opening awareness, using meditation and movement exercises to explore a Core Movement Resource theme, settling, and closing with sharing. Music supports the practice.
