More About Open Floor Practice: Open Floor teaches resource-based mindful movement, embodiment, and conscious dance. Practice sessions begin with arriving well, opening awareness, using meditation and movement exercises to explore a Core Movement Resource theme, settling, and closing with sharing. Music supports the practice. Time will be spent sitting, standing, dancing, talking, breathing, lying, and modifying as needed. Open Floor practice is for everybody.

The benefits of an Open Floor practice include building strength/coordination/mobility, lifting mood, reducing anxiety/stress, regulating the nervous system, encouraging connection to self/others/spirit, increasing self-awareness, and building resiliency. People who have a regular embodiment practice approach life with more ease, creativity, and flexibility. Be one of those people!
