ACCEPTED! Brainspotting Consultant-in-Training!
I am excited to announce that I am began my Brainspotting Consultant-in-Training Program last month and that it will run for the majority of 2026. I will be studying with Mariya Javed-Payne, MSW, LICSW, LADC, a gifted healer, Brainspotting Trainer, and magic human being. She owns Awaken Consulting Services based out of Minnesota.
Brainspotting Consultants are ambassadors and gatekeepers of Brainspotting. They are committed to the spirit of Brainspotting, growing and serving the community, and embodying anti-oppression/anti-racism principles. They engage in training, personal development, and cultivating self-awareness.
I will be studying with a cohort of 10 Brainspotting colleagues from around the globe: the consultation process, embodiment of Brainspotting principles, and preparing to engage in consultation. I am committed to the monthly Zoom meetings, readings, watching Brainspotting training videos, reflections, discussions, supporting either Phase 1 or Phase 2 training, and taking on consultees.
I love Brainspotting, I am honored to continue my journey with it, and ready for this intensive year of study! I look forward to serving as a Brainspotting Consultant by the end of 2026 and supporting Brainspotting therapists in getting CERTIFIED!
