Kelly Curtis , Clinical Mental Health Counseling Intern
Kelly is a mature, deeply experienced professional who brings over 25 years of school counseling experience to her therapeutic practice. Licensed as a school counselor in both Wisconsin and Minnesota, Kelly is currently completing her second Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at UW-Superior (expected May 2027). To further enhance her trauma-informed care, she is completing Phase 1 Brainspotting training in June 2026.
Driven by a strong sense of social justice and advocacy, Kelly utilizes a relational, solution-focused, and strengths-based approach. She integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and personalized techniques to help clients uncover resilience after trauma, tap into their inner problem-solving skills, and face challenges with newfound confidence. Her work is richly informed by her love of family connections, travel, and cultural learning.
Kelly believes that sometimes we simply need someone who sees our true potential, encourages our growth, and reminds us of our own resilience. Transitioning from the school system has given her the freedom to dedicate her full energy to guiding clients through deep, meaningful change. She is ready to walk alongside you on your healing journey and support you in building the life you deserve.
