In a world that constantly demands we stay in our heads—processing emails, managing schedules, and navigating endless digital noise—it’s easy to lose touch with the physical vessel that carries us through it all. We become experts at thinking, but often find ourselves disconnected from feeling and sensing.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply out of sync, we have a special invitation for you to come home to yourself.

Join us for Shake Your Bones: Intro to Open Floor Movemeant!

What is Open Floor?

Forget everything you think you know about a dance class. There are no steps to memorize, no sequences to perfect, and absolutely no way to do it wrong.

Open Floor is a mindful movement and conscious dance practice. It is a movement meditation designed to help us settle into the truth of who we are. By using the body as a resource, we learn to shake off the layers of daily stress and shoulds to find a more fluid, grounded version of ourselves.

This dance will offer cognitive information about the Open Floor International Curriculum alongside somatic experience and integration of the concepts.

Why Shake Your Bones?

This workshop is an introduction to the Open Floor curriculum—a resource-based practice that builds life skills on the dance floor. When we move with intention, we:

  • Regulate the nervous system: Shift from fight or flight into a state of presence.

  • Build Resiliency: Learn to move through discomfort rather than avoiding it.

  • Increase Awareness: Connect more deeply with your physical sensations, emotions, and thoughts.

Meet Your Facilitator: Cori Hildebrandt

This session is led by Cori Hildebrandt, MA, LPC WI, LPCC MN, and owner of Coriander Living Collective. As a psychotherapist and a Certified Open Floor International Teacher, Cori brings a unique therapeutic lens to the dance floor.

Cori describes herself as a non-dancer and a Type A by nature. She understands the initial awkwardness of conscious dance, but she also knows the expansive freedom that waits on the other side. Her teaching is warm, grounded, and designed to make everyone feel welcome—regardless of movement experience.
